This peptide is a botulinoid mechanism. It inhibits the synthesis of SNARE receptors, the excessive release of catecholamine and acetylcholine in the skin, locally blocks the nerve transmission of muscle contraction information, relaxes facial muscles, and smoothes fine lines. Like signal peptides, these peptides are widely used, especially in the areas where expression muscles are concentrated (corner of the eye, face, forehead).

The representative peptide products are: acetyl HEXAPEPTIDE-3 (agrireline), acetyl octapeptide-1 (SNAP-8), pentapeptide-3 (pentapeptide-3), dipeptide snake toxin, etc., among which acetyl HEXAPEPTIDE-3 (agrireline) is the most widely used.
